if you don’t receive all of these benefits, feel good while doing

Pilates Instructor Mara Raskin will challenge, coach, and cajole you
into doing things you wouldn't have believed possible!
Mara Raskin, CPI
Mara knows how a good Pilates program can positively impact your life. "Pilates is a form of exercise that bridges physical therapy and personal training,"
she says. "The program can be modified to address injury limitations, lack
of bone density, osteoporosis, scoliosis... It also can be
ramped-up to address the needs of competitive and professional
athletes. It is especially beneficial for athletes active in sports that
are one-sided -- golf, skating and such -- because it enforces
alignment in the body and makes the weaker side of the body work
harder to keep up with the stronger side so everything works in
unison, evening you out. Pilates is also great for rehabilitation of
injury."
